Meet Our Surrogacy Experts: 

Parham Zar is the founder and managing director of the Egg Donor & Surrogacy Institute (EDSI). During his tenure at EDSI, Parham has helped thousands of intended parents bring their dream of parenthood to fruition. He is deeply invested in creating a more compassionate and open dialogue around infertility and reproductive challenges; issues that affect an estimated 15 percent of couples globally. As a leading expert within the third-party assisted reproduction industry, Parham has served as a vital resource to New York legislators tasked with writing state surrogacy laws, and is the author of the upcoming book, “Should I Get a Surrogate: Answering the Questions You Have, and Some You Didn’t Know to Ask”. 

Ellen Goldstein, MD, FACOG is a board-certified OB-GYN and specialty-trained Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility physician. She has been helping hopeful families at the Reproductive Fertility Center since 2016. Dr. Goldstein graduated from Brown University with an undergraduate degree with honors in Biology, where she received the James Kidwell prize in Genetics and Population Biology. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, and completed rigorous training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, where she discovered her passion for caring for infertile patients. Dr. Goldstein completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at both UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Centers. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is currently clinical faculty and Attending Physician at the UCLA School of Medicine, where she educates the next generation of reproductive specialists. Dr. Goldstein also serves as a physician liaison to the Feit 4 Kidz Fertility Loan Fund, increasing patient and physician awareness of a charitable resource for fertility care in the Southern California community.
