Meet Our Infertility and Surrogacy Experts:
Dr. Nurit Winkler is double-board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology. received her medical degree from the University of Pavia, School of Medicine in Pavia, Italy, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island, and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Prior to moving to the U.S., Dr. Winkler trained in both Europe and Israel. She is fluent in Hebrew and Italian and licensed to practice medicine on three continents. While completing her residency at Brown University, she earned multiple teaching and research awards including “Top Resident Research Award”, “Excellence in Teaching” and Dean’s Teaching Excellence Award”. She also served as a clinical instructor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Winkler understands that each patient has their own unique set of needs and believes each treatment should be tailored to each patient, rather than a standard, preset protocol. She also likes to use a more “natural” and holistic approach whenever possible.
She has authored various articles, scientific papers and textbook chapters, including Fertility and Sterility and the Reproductive Medicine Textbook. Dr. Winkler is a member of ASRM and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is the recipient of multiple awards including “Patient Choice”, “Compassionate Doctor Recognition” and “American Top OB/GYN”.
